Mike Mussina pitched the Yankees to their 6th win. They are now 2 games under .500, and 5.5 games out. Fortunately both the Orioles and Red Sox lost today.
The AL East is going to be really tight in a few weeks if the Yankees can just... keep winning at a break-neck-ungodly pace, which they are not likely to do; for tomorrow, Kevin Pound-For-A-Brown pitches and chances are the team will implode in the 2nd inning.
